ABOUT ME

Welcome to my website!

My name is Anges van der Logt, ARPS QPSA. I am a Dutch female photographer, born in Amersfoort (the Netherlands) in 1969, and I got my master degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands in 1994. Having met my (Indonesian born) husband in the Netherlands during study, I emigrated to Indonesia in 1995.

While growing up, my father was very seriously into photography, so I learned a lot from him still being young. My first encounter with photography was with analog film, and I even developed my own photos for a while. The interest for photography never faded, and in 2003 I decided to take real classes and to get more serious with my photography.

Nowadays, I am very actively taking pictures again (after a long break), and my love for traveling takes me to all over Asia, but also to the most remote places in Indonesia....which I love the most.. (for its scenery and friendly people).

I received the Associate distinction (ARPS) at the Royal Photographic Society (UK) on May 27, 2021, and the QPSA distinction at the Photographic Society of America in Dec. 2021.

If you are interested in a collaboration, please send me an email from the Contact page.
